First Thanksgiving

Today was the first Thanksgiving I've ever had away from home, but since I have awesome roommates, we had our own Thanksgiving. We had the works; turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, biscuits, stuffing, and an awesome dessert cake thing. It was way fun making all of the food with everyone! When we sat down at the table we went around and said five things we were thankful for. 1. Being a student at the BC 2. My awesome roommates 3. My family that I miss a lot 4. The gospel in my life 5. Heat in our house, because otherwise it would be absolutely freezing. I still haven't had dessert yet thought, because I'm so full! So that "HORRIBLE" blizzard that hit last night ended up only being like two inches of snow. Weak Utah, weak. Glad everyone freaked out about nothing. During the "storm" last night, Haleigh went outside in her bra, underwear, and boots and stood in the snow, and had me take a picture..she was losing her mind. I actually went to bed at a semi decent time last night. I was rudely awoken by an alarm (one of those really obnoxious BEEP BEEP BEEP ones) it went off for like an hour and a half before I finally went upstairs to see why the heck it was still going off. Oh turns out it was just Ali..who wasn't even home! I didn't think I was going to get back to sleep, but Kyle came over and I was passed out as soon as we turned on The Holiday. I have seriously seen the beginning of the movie at least ten times, but I've never watched it all of the way through. One of these days I would like to. I'm going to end up being home alone tonight. Kirsten is at work, Ali is going to house sit, Haleigh is going with family, and Bonnie never comes downstairs, so yeah, basically alone. I wish I was at home..in Ohio. :(
